Rinchem safely and efficiently transports millions of pounds of chemicals, hazardous and non-hazardous materials each year. We are a national bonded carrier for transportation and we have a bonded warehouse in Savannah, Georgia. We maintain a specialized fleet of tractors and trailers for local, 24-hour, just-in-time delivery, and over-the-road transportation.
We have been awarded the highest rating given by the Department of Transportation, the DOT Federal Highway Administration Satisfactory Rating because of our outstanding safety record over the past 20+ years of operation regarding transportation of hazardous materials and waste. Safety Features
Rinchem is dedicated to protecting our customers products, as well as assuring the safety of all individuals handling the product and the environment. We are HM-232 certified and operate in complete compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Our vehicle safety features include such technologies as:
- Temperature control
- Emergency spill containment equipment
- Vapor vents and skylights
- Rigid door frames and air ride suspension
- Double E-track load locks
- Sealed floors
- Secondary containment dams
Additionally our over-the-road (OTR) refrigerated trailers and dry van trailers are equipped with GPS technology and our OTR trucks are equipped with both on-board computers and GPS, which allow for real time reporting of shipment status.
Driver Commitment
Rinchem sponsors a driver safety program that rewards drivers for being excellent representatives of Rinchem. This program, appropriately called "Ambassadors of the Road," promotes safe, courteous driving, and remarkable customer relations among our drivers.
