Rinchem Instructors

Rinchem instructors have a unique combination of real-world, technical, and instructing experience, which creates an effective and fun training environment.

Robert Gakin holds degrees in Environmental Science and Industrial Hygiene. He is currently completing course work for an additional degree in Business Management. Robert is certified to instruct IATA regulations from the International Air Transportation Association, DOT hazmat regulations from Transportation Safety Institute, and HAZWOPER from the EPA. He teaches International Maritime of Dangerous Goods as well as RCRA. Robert also holds certification to teach Lead Awareness, HAZCAT, and many OSHA courses. He travels across the United States, as well as internationally, providing regulatory instruction. Before joining the Rinchem team, Robert worked in laboratories creating and maintaining meteorite identification programs. He also spent time with the National Science Foundation assisting with education, science, technology, engineering and mathematic (STEM) programs.

Scott Hamilton has more than fifteen years of experience in training. He spent ten years at Philips Semiconductors working in the training department where he managed more than twenty trainers in the fabrication department. Scott and his team also provided customized training for many specialized classroom topics. Scott received a certificate from University of New Mexico for Adult Education and Computer Based Training. He has extensive knowledge in computer training along with a solid foundation in customer service.
