Our History

Rinchem Company, Inc. was spun off by an Arizona chemical distribution business in 1976. It has transitioned from a two person supplier of paint raw materials to a four hundred member team providing integrated logistics services. We provide warehousing, transportation, waste management, consulting, and training to a multitude of companies and industries globally. Rinchem has become a robust, growth-oriented business with a serious commitment to our mission.

1976 Bill Moore starts Rinchem Company, Inc. in Albuquerque New Mexico
1981 Opens a second warehouse in El Paso, Texas
1983 Contracts with a large, local semiconductor manufacturer to store chemicals
1987 Contracts with a national laboratory to operate hazardous waste facilities
1988 Obtains permits to operate hazardous waste transfer site in Albuquerque, New Mexico
1992 Contracts with DOD to operate hazardous waste facilities at Dugway, Utah
1996 Purchases and renovates chemical warehouse in Dallas, Texas
1996 Receives Roadrunner Trophy from New Mexico Quality Association
1997 Receives permit to operate chemical waste transfer site in Juarez, Mexico
1998 Opens warehouse for semiconductor related chemicals in Gilroy, California
2001 Opens warehouses in Minnesota, Colorado, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Oregon
2001 Contracts for multi-site storage of semiconductor chemicals and return of empties
2002 Achieves ISO 9001 certification for warehousing activities
2004 Contracts for domestic transportation of semiconductor chemicals from New Jersey and Texas
2005 Achieves ISO 14001 certification for quality conscious waste management services
2005 Opens warehouses in Ireland and Israel
2005 Acquires assets of McCarthy Draying in Long Beach, California
2005 Contracts to operate dedicated distribution center for flammable paint in Texas
2005 Contracts to operate distribution center for semiconductor chemicals in Massachusetts
2006 Acquires assets of Blue Jay Transportation in Hudson, Massachusetts
2006 Acquires warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, California
2006 Develops semiconductor chemical warehouse in Winchester, Virginia
2006 Opens new warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah
2007 Acquires assets of Roland’s Bonded Warehouse in Savannah, Georgia
2007 Acquires assets of Blue Chip Delivery in Dallas, Texas
2007 Acquires assets of G&A Warehouses in Bensalem, Pennsylvania
2007 Acquires warehouse in Flemington, New Jersey
2007 Contracts as lead logistics provider to shepherd international chemical movements
